Are You Marching with
Me?
Guest Post by Cari Kamm
“And it is a choice.
A choice to buy into fear or to chart your own path and create value. The hard
work is being brave enough to make a difference. To not always wait for
instructions, but figuring out what to do next.” - Seth
Godin

Today is the only day
of the year that commands us to do something. March 4th = March Forth. March
4th will always remind me to
live and to take action.
I had no idea about
March 4th being a day of command and
to March forth. It’s a healthy
reality check to make sure we continue to grow and become our best through time.
To not only change our own lives, but others as well. As a writer who creates
new chapters for my books, it’s a nice reminder to reread and write new chapters
of my own life and Adios to those past ones.
To me, the tiniest
events are just as important as those huge once in a lifetime chances. I am me. I
am shaped by the combination of all my moments. These moments bring
self-awareness and create these necessary life ingredients such as intuition,
self-worth, love, forgiveness, trust and to make responsible choices.
If I had to describe
the life I strive to live in one sentence, it would be... A creative, educational, inspirational,
humble and truthful journey. I make a conscious effort to live my life fear
proof. I make my decisions, choices and set my own standards, not that little
voice of Mr. Fear that attempts to steer me to stay within my comfort zone. I
can only love, laugh, work my butt off, fight for what I believe in, inspire and
care for others, and sometimes cry in the process. . . hysterically! I will fail
miserably at something before I ever quit anything. It’s the trade off for
living outside of the comfort zone.
I believe we all live
in some range of fear, just some more than others. The fear of failure,
rejection, not being loved, or creating and living our dreams. We fear life
sometimes so much that we protect ourselves to the point that we are not living,
but slowly suffocating the passion inside ourselves that creates the very life we
have imagined.
I’ve learned over the
years that I have the power to truly create the life that I desire. To dream
huge. To fail. To risk. To try. That the key to living the life I’ve always
imagined is quite simple. Always choose happiness. To do what makes me happy.
That my perspective is the most powerful tool and it will allow me to survive
anything. Every morning when I sit at my desk, I take a moment, make that
choice, and then let me fingers hit the keys.
So here is to
marching forth! To making our actions match our dreams!

Book Blurb:
Chloe Kassidy has just been accepted into one of Manhattan’s most
exclusive art exhibits, Love Through Light. However, with her singular
dedication to her career, she soon realizes that in sacrificing her
personal life, she has never been in love. A hopeless romantic who is
terrified of heartbreak, Chloe begins to enlist the help of her circle
of friends to learn about love through their very different stories and
experiences. In Chloe’s emotional rollercoaster to having the greatest love story ever told, she’ll learn that like her photography she must use the negatives in life to develop and prove that she’s a strong woman who found her way to love through light.
A humorous love story with an edgy and dramatic twist, For Internal Use Only is a vastly entertaining novel that gives each of us a new fairy tale to look forward too: our own.

Cari, I agree with everything you've said, and I feel very inspired. It's scary to take those risks, but if we don't, we don't live fully. Doing what we love with passion is what it's all about. I can't wait to read For Internal Use Only!
